as Nomad Aviation (Pty) Ltd trading as Bay Air Aviation, with base of operation
the coastal town of Walvis Bay.
It is an aircraft charter company specialising in scheduled
and non-scheduled air transport. The 2 directors, its founding members, have been
in business since 1989.

The company does
charters and schedule flights, transporting passengers and freight in Namibia
and neighboring states, using light to medium class aircraft.
In addition to operating in Namibia the company has been
doing extensive contract work in Angola as well as South Africa using mostly King
Air 200's and Cessna Grand Caravan's.

Bay Air has been
operating a scheduled air service between Walvis Bay and Eros for the past 6 years.
To date we have transported 2000 passengers on this route and have done 1900 flights
on this schedule.
On this same route we have achieved 89.1 % of on time departure
and arrivals and transport annually about 85 tons of express freight. |
Our main objective is to keep the prospective client happy,
if you require a specialized service, we will make sure to have the most appropriate
aircraft available, on time and at a cost you can afford. |
Contracts for various overseas companies in respect of
census work in the northern region of Namibia have been done successfully, as
well as scheduled operations to South Africa.

Bay Air in August 1998 flew a number of scheduled flights for Air Namibia
on their domestic routes using not only our pressurized Cessna 421, but also Cessna
Grand Caravans and King Air 200's. |
